The Ashoka Diamond

The Ashoka Diamond is named after the brave, Buddhist ruler Ashoka who had a reawakening in 626 BC. King Ashoka was very fierce in battle and had won many of them, had many kingdoms on his name but one day realized that nothing is kept in war. He started following the path of Harmony, compassion, love and Giving which made him prosper! The Ashoka diamond is one of the most famous diamond in the world which was first ever found in the Golconda region of the Southern India. The unique combination of size, beauty, and history has made this one of a kind gem, a legend in its own right. The Ashoka diamond is a 41 carat gem and the Ashoka cut has become a legend in itself just like the King Ashoka!

Each Ashoka diamond is polished after cutting, to exceed radically distinctive standards.

The signature cut to the Ashoka gives it a breathtaking beauty and anyone would fall in love with it on the first sight. The Ashoka diamond, after changing its different owners, got into the hands of William Goldberg. This diamond amazed him with its magnificence, which inspired him to create a classic new cut for the diamond. Gem is made from rough diamond that is at least 15 carats or more. These are found in a very small number of 200 in the whole year which signifies the uniqueness of the Ashoka. The Ashoka Diamond has attained a legendary status today only because of its uniqueness, compiled beauty and of course, due to the hard work of William Goldberg for creating the Ashoka Diamond signature cut!
