The Man Behind the Beauty

William Goldberg, born in 1925, has become the professional diamond dealer that everyone wants jewelry from.  But, after all the beautiful creations he has made, who wouldn’t want his jewelry?  He dedicated his entire life to selling the most beautiful cut diamonds that you could find.  He started out his business with diamonds in 1952 by creating the company known as Goldberg & Weiss.  This company was created with Irving Weiss, a talented and efficient diamond cutter.  After learning the ropes of business, he really got the diamond business kicking when he formed the William Goldberg Diamond Corporation located in New York City.  This definitely doesn’t end his term as a diamond entrepreneur.  He earned enough respect in his talent with diamonds to become president of the New York Diamond Dealers Club.  Although his life ended in 2003, his reputation has not.  The company is still producing diamonds of top value to its customers.  His name will be carried on and remembered as long as diamonds are still being created.  Goldberg started this ongoing business which has created a cut of diamond that is known among dealers everywhere, the Ashoka diamond.  This diamond is reputable not only for its rarity, but also for its intense beauty.  The time and enduring patience put into creating this diamond can only be by a cutter from Goldberg’s company.  Blemish-free and flawless, these diamonds make all other diamonds seem like a rock on the side of the road.  Goldberg never settled for anything less than best and the company finds it important to keep that attitude to this very day.

William Goldberg, Magician and Craftsman

The William Goldberg family of jewelers is known for diamond excellence.  Never a business to rest upon its own laurels, the Goldberg line of gemstones includes the 137 carat Premier Rose, the 89 carat Guinea Star, and now the voluminous, yet serene, Ashoka diamond collection.  Ashoka diamonds have been crafted in such a way as to appear larger than their actual weight in carats, and seem to pull light from the air in a magical, transcendent myriad of sparkle.  With over fifty years of diamond excellence the W. Goldberg diamond collection continues to amaze.  Their latest foray into specialty cuts, the Ashoka diamond proves to the world that the William Goldberg magic has not left this earth.  This New York family business continues to set the bar for beauty, quality, and showmanship.

The Ashoka diamond collection is their latest “must have” for collectors and hobbyists the world over.  Seen on some of the most prestigious hands in the world, the Ashoka engagement rings continue to sparkle and provide inspiration in a way that rivals that of Walt Disney.  Who wouldn’t feel like a princess wearing the Ashoka Colette ring, or an Ashoka Eternity band?

If “Diamonds are Forever” than so is the magic of W. Goldberg.  The Goldberg legacy has been to create heirlooms; to create art.  The magic and fire within their rings captures the beauty of romance itself.  One look at these exquisite diamonds and you know you are looking at gems that will be tied intrinsically to a family’s history and future.  The William Goldberg diamonds are for the diamond collector’s and connoisseurs, and those who believe in cementing a physical manifestation of affection in a one of a kind piece of jewelry.14 kt white gold ring set with one 1.05 carat ...Image via Wikipedia
